4 Daily Challenges: Since we have no idea..

Since we have no idea who, when, what, or how think about us or about what we do, it is completely unnecessary to philosophize, to such an extent as we often do, about what anyone's perception of us is at all. 

Who do I want to satisfy, not being me?

The others, or the expectations of others, or our own need to be seen as someone we are not?

Putting self-denial completely to the fore can lead to the complete suppression of self-realization, which, in the long run, can result in increasingly unpleasant and unnecessary tensions, explosions or simple illnesses.

The first step to self-love is choosing oneself, which can often be seen as selfish by others, or even by us.

Let us remember that if we only give, we slowly become totally depleted and left with nothing to provide. And if we don't give to ourselves, we teach others that we don't deserve or need to be given either.

The choice, as always, is ours. And we can always choose differently.
